The Plan of Salvation
Do you know that because of original sin - Adam and Eve's sin in the Garden of Eden, man now needs a sacrifice for his sins in order to spend eternity with God in Heaven??
That sacrifice was made by Jesus Christ on the cross, when He died and shed His precious blood to pay the penalty for our sins.
But we must repent. (Acts 3:19)
We must receive Him and believe in His name. (John 1:12)
Romans 10:9 says "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
John 14:6 says "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
Are you ready to make that commitment today?
2 Corinthians 6:2b says "Behold, now is the accepted time; now is the day of salvation."
Proverbs 27:1 says "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth."
Is God calling you today? Don't put off any longer the single most important decision you can make in this life. Call upon the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.
Will you pray this prayer? He will hear you:
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner without hope. I believe you are the Son of the living God, and I believe you died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins. I believe you rose from the dead defeating death, hell and the grave. I repent of my sins and ask your forgiveness, and I accept the free gift of salvation that your sacrifice and resurrection provide. Save me Lord, and make me a new creation in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
